My story
Before motherhood, I built an, award-winning chocolate business. I poured my heart and soul into it, learned hard lessons about resilience, business strategy, and taking big risks - but I wasn’t a mum then.
Busimum is different. I’m building this while raising two young children, navigating school runs, nap schedules and everything in between. And I know first-hand how overwhelming it can feel to dream of a thriving business while your days are already packed.
That’s why Busimum exists - to empower mums to build businesses that fit around their lives, not the other way around.
You don’t need endless hours or a business degree - you need clarity, the right strategies and support from someone who’s walking the same path.

Why I started Busimum,
When I became a mum, everything changed - including my approach to business. I went from having all the time in the world to stealing moments in between feeds, nap times, and school drop-offs. I needed a business that worked for me, not one that consumed me,
I saw so many mums feeling stuck - wanting to create an income that gave them more freedom but not knowing where to start. The internet was full of conflicting advice, complicated strategies, and business models that didn’t fit the realities of mum life.
That’s when I knew, mums needed more, a different business approach, not the hustle 24/7 model (hello, one way ticket to burn out) and the ‘build a business and hope it works’ approach doesn’t work either.
So I’ve created a clear, step-by-step plan to build a profitable, flexible and sustainable business - without burnout.
